GROUNDBREAKING INDUSTRY ANNOUNCEMENTS - NOVEMBER 2011

November 3rd was a big day for announcements in the industry. Early in the day, Avid introduced Media Composer 6 - which features 64 bit architecture and more. Next up came Canon's announcement of their new EOS C300 Digital Cinema Camera, which is geared towards the pro filmmaking arena. Later in the afternoon, RED Digital Cinema unveilled the new Scarlet, which features 5K still and 4K motion.
