SilverStor™ Expansion Systems feature our unique internal SAS Expander circuit which allows a single mini-SAS cable connection to the host computer (18-Bay systems can use two mini-SAS cables) and provides expansion ability to add more storage on-the-fly by simply daisy chaining additional SilverStor™ JBODs to the first unit.
