The Fibre Light 2G16 is a 2-Gigabit (GB)Fibre Channel disk enclosure that has 16 drive bays to provide over 2 Terabytes of available storage. The 2GB Fibre Channel dual paths and cableless backplane reliably provide 200MB per second transfer rates to the disk drives.
Dual paths to all devices ensures that the customer’s data is protected from channel failures and high availability is achieved by utilizing fully redundant, hot-swappable disk drives, power supplies and fan assemblies.
With addtional Fibre Light 2G16 enclosure, the Fibre Light 2G16 can easily scale in capacity to match your network and storage requirements. The Fibre Light 2G16 comes standard as a 3U rackmount enclosure.
